Montgomery Tribune

The Montgomery Tribune was a group project created during my Junior year where three classmates and I took the enormous amount of research done by Karen Boyd and created a digital and print newspaper that goes through the history of the Montgomery civil rights movement. The project was entered and presented during the EURECA exhibition and later won two awards.

In the beginning of the process, my group headed to our library where we had an abundance of archived newspapers and writings in regards to the Montgomery civil rights movement and took inspiration for the look and tone of voice that they conveyed.

Our EURECA poster included all of our research, reasoning, and deliverables that went into our project. We presented our project to three different panels of judges and walked them through what each person in the group focused on.
